Refugees in a Moving World: Interdisciplinary Conversations

The overview below of Centenary commemorations that paid attention to Belgian refugees or were mainly constructed around that piece of civilian First World War history is not an exhaustive one at all. 21 April: verhalendag

Vredescentrum goes 14-18: Verhalendag op 21 april 2013: Breng uw familieherinneringen over Wereldoorlog I binnen,

In aanloop naar de herdenking 100 jaar Groote Oorlog lanceert het Vredescentrum, coördinator van het stadsbrede herdenkingsprogramma Antwerpen '14-'18, een Verhalendag.
Op Erfgoeddag is iedereen welkom om verhalen en anekdotes over de Groote Oorlog op te laten tekenen en foto's, brieven en voorwerpen te laten digitaliseren. Alle verhalen worden opgenomen in de internationale databank van Europeana, een project van Oxford University. Zo bouwen we mee aan het collectieve geheugen over de Eerste Wereldoorlog.
