BBC's WW1atHome starts on Monday 24 February. Among the first stories covered: Belgian refugees in Britain.
On BBC London Radio a segment will be aired at around 2.05pm GMT (3.05pm Bxl time) on 94.9 FM (UK that is, or online). The BBC Press Office has a piece out already, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01s945q.
Later that day BBC London Radio will also air an interview with Selma Van de Perre. She married the person who was 6 months old when he crossed the Channel in August 1914 with my greatgrandfather, Jules Persyn. I met Selma rather by coincidence about a year ago at a social do with the Orde van den Prince in London. That's nearly a century later...
Also on 24 February, there will be a segment on BBC London News (tv that is) that day as well. Details very soon.
